What are memory problems?

Problems with memory are less important in the treatment of the Dr. Leo Kannerhuis and are therefore not included in its list of autism characteristics. Short-term memory is one of the executive functions. Problems with it can make people getting lost in buildings, make them loose their belongings etc.

Therefore spaces have to be easy to recognize. Often visualizations are necessary, for instance by way of route indicators, signs on doors and cupboards etc.
